SmartKidsPlay ("we," "us") runs SmartKidsPlay.toys, a free guide to educational toys. This policy explains what information we do — and mostly don't — collect. We've kept the site deliberately simple, and this policy reflects that.

The short version

We don't ask you to sign in, sign up, or fill out forms, and we don't run third‑party advertising or analytics trackers on this site. We don't build profiles of you. When you click a link to a retailer like Amazon, that retailer takes over under its own privacy policy.

Information we collect

From you, directly: none. There are no accounts, newsletters, comment forms, or contact forms on SmartKidsPlay.toys. The only way to reach us is by email, which you choose to send.

Automatically — standard server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting records basic technical request data (such as IP address, browser/user‑agent, pages requested, and timestamps). We use these logs only to operate the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We don't use them to identify or track individuals.

Cookies. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies for visitors. The only cookie we use is a first‑party session cookie for our own administrators signing in to manage the site — it is never set for ordinary visitors.

No third‑party analytics or ad pixels. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tracking on this site.

Affiliate links and third‑party sites

SmartKidsPlay participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and may use other retailer affiliate programs. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site (e.g., Amazon) may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us, and your activity there is governed by that company's privacy policy, not ours. Children's privacy

SmartKidsPlay.toys is written for parents and caregivers, not for children. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Because we don't collect personal information from visitors, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding personal data — if you have a request or question, email us and we'll respond in good faith. Data sharing and retention

We do not sell or rent personal information. Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operations. We rely on reputable hosting and the affiliate networks named in our Affiliate Disclosure; we don't share visitor data with advertisers.
